DWS is seeking quality focused, enthusiastic Solution Architects with extensive Banking Industry experience, with knowledge of Contact Centre Operations using Amazon Connect (within a banking environment) to join our consulting team. You will ideally have experience in delivering architectures within complex ecosystems together with experience of microservices-based architectures, with a core focus on banking.

Rate: up to $220K (inc super), depending on experience

Style: Hybrid; 3 days a week in CBD office

The Solution Architect will work as part of a team, with primary responsibility for technical oversight, they will also help solve complex issues arising during project delivery

• Contact Centre Operations using Amazon Connect within the banking domain would be extremely useful, but not necessarily mandatory
• Experience in delivering architectures within complex ecosystems together with experience of microservices-based architectures
• Working with Architecture teams and internal functional business teams to ensure Solutions align with enterprise strategy and technology roadmap
• Analysing business requirements and process initiatives, to produce High Level Designs (HLDS) and manage components of large and medium sized initiatives
• Undertake problem diagnosis, analyse, then design enhancements
• Working with engineers to ensure their detailed designs are workable & fit for purpose
• Working as a crucial component of a project team responsible for enhancing existing systems or developing new systems
• Exposure to Enterprise Architecture including production of architecture models

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have extensive banking industry experience
• Experience in Amazon Connect related architecture
• Substantial AWS or Azure Cloud experience
• TOGAF certified or equivalent IT architectural qualification is desirable
• Experience working in both Agile and Structured delivery
• Detailed understanding of Digital, Mobile and Web Architectures
• Outstanding ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions
