Job Overview: We are looking for a talented AWS Cloud Solution Architect (2 headounts for Banking client) who will enable a transformational journey for customers by designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions on AWS. Key Responsibilities: Engage with stakeholders to define, and execute Enterprise cloud migration strategies with a focus on AWS. Collaborate with account managers and cross-functional teams Assess migration feasibility, identify dependencies, and overcome obstacles to ensure successful cloud migration. Work with development, infrastructure, security, and IT operations teams to identify repeatable patterns and architectures for cloud migration. Design architecture and roadmaps for modernizing infrastructure to native AWS services. Join implementation teams to directly deploy migration projects from on-premises or other cloud platforms to AWS. Key Requirements: Proven experience in designing/implementing/consulting on distributed systems. Hands-on experience in cloud migration projects. Leadership experience in managing engineering or technical teams. Broad expertise across Enterprise IT in areas such as Infrastructure Architecture, Database Architecture, IP Networking, IT Security, and Data Center Operations. Deep knowledge of private and public cloud computing technologies (especially AWS) and architectural best practices. Strong technical acumen with the ability to align customer IT landscapes with business objectives while overcoming technical challenges. Excellent presentation and written communication skills; ability to engage both technical and executive audiences. Qualifications: Experience architecting complex systems leveraging AWS services in multi-vendor environments. Hands-on experience with networking and database technologies. Familiarity with discovery and migration toolkits. Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Solutions Architect Professional are highly preferred. Knowledge of modern software development techniques like DevOps, CI/CD toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub), container orchestration systems (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native application architecture is a plus.
