As a Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in matching technical solutions to project goals and coordinate the development and implementation of a solution for Smart City customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, vendors/OEMs, developers, project managers, and business analysts, to create architectural designs that align with our client’s objectives and drive innovation in urban development.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in Smart City markets.
  • Track record of selling comprehensive solutions, including combinations of hardware, software, and professional services.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years in AI-related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of architecture principles, including cloud computing, IoT, data analytics, and AI.
  • Proficiency in architectural modeling tools and methodologies.
  • Strong Project Management skills to estimate timeframes, tradeoffs and critical path for overall Blaize advantage. Guide through unforeseen technical challenges that impact timeline.
  • DevOps experience and skills to bring up customer’s demos and systems for proof of values.
  • Knowledge of Corporate networking and IT security
  • Visible, measurable record of continuous training in the latest AI and Enterprise technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to Smart Cities.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyze their requirements, ensuring architectural solutions meet specific needs.
  • Solution Design: Develop comprehensive architectural blueprint for Smart Cities with a clear path to success, considering factors such as infrastructure, technology, data management, and scalability.
  • Technology Strategy: Align Blaize’s technical strategy with customer’s goals and IT standards.
  • System Integration: Oversee the integration of various systems and technologies, ensuring seamless connectivity and interoperability within the Smart Airport City ecosystem.
  • Risks and Constraints: Identify the constraints on the technology, business and compliance sides. Prioritize them and adapt the solutions to reduce the risks but stay within budget.
  • Security and Compliance: Incorporate robust security measures into architectural designs, adhering to industry standards and regulations to protect data and infrastructure.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and guidelines, to facilitate development and implementation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that architectural designs are successfully translated into working solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to Smart Cities and Smart Airport Cities to drive ongoing improvements in our solutions.
  • Effective Sales Enablement: Support and equip the sales team with the necessary resources to engage with key stakeholders, particularly in CIO roles. This includes creating tailored presentations, technical documentation, and insights that enhance sales conversations.
  • Impact on Revenue: Contribute to revenue growth by identifying opportunities and developing strategies for winning accounts. Assist the sales team in crafting quotes and understanding client needs to create compelling proposals.
