About the Role As a Braze Solution Architect, you will lead the technical architecture, integration design, and enterprise implementation of Braze across Valus client engagements. This role goes beyond platform configuration. You will design scalable engagement infrastructure, architect complex integrations, and ensure that CRM ecosystems are built on clean data foundations and reliable event frameworks. You will operate at the intersection of engineering, data, and client strategy, transforming marketing automation requirements into structured, production-ready technical solutions. This is a high-ownership SaaS role requiring deep expertise in Braze architecture, API integrations, event-driven systems, and client-facing solution leadership. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Technical Design: Lead end-to-end architecture planning for Braze implementations, including integration frameworks, system mapping, and lifecycle enablement. Braze Platform Implementation (Technical Leadership): Oversee full Braze technical setup including event schema design, segmentation logic alignment, Canvas enablement support, personalization integration (Liquid), API configuration, connected content setup, and automation governance from an engineering perspective. Enterprise Integrations & API Management: Architect integrations between Braze and CRM systems, CDPs, backend services, loyalty engines, eCommerce platforms, and data warehouses using REST APIs, webhooks, and event streaming models. Event Taxonomy & Data Governance: Define structured event taxonomy, oversee SDK implementation (mobile/web), manage identity resolution frameworks, and ensure data accuracy across systems. Client-Facing Technical Advisory: Lead technical discovery workshops, translate business requirements into architectural blueprints, and communicate complex integration strategies to client stakeholders. Engineering Oversight & Quality Assurance: Collaborate closely with backend and mobile engineers to review implementation plans, validate integrations, and ensure scalability and performance stability. Pre-Sales & Technical Feasibility Support: Support Sales and Leadership during pitches by contributing architecture diagrams, integration roadmaps, and technical risk assessments. Documentation & Reusable Framework Development: Create structured solution documentation, integration playbooks, and reusable implementation frameworks to standardize delivery across accounts. Scalability & Optimization: Continuously assess performance, system efficiency, and automation stability to ensure long-term scalability of client engagement ecosystems. Success Metrics Successful enterprise-grade Braze implementations delivered with clean, scalable architecture. Minimal data discrepancies across integrated systems. Structured event taxonomy deployed across client environments. Stable API and SDK integrations with low production issues. Positive technical feedback from enterprise clients. Contribution to new business wins through technical architecture support. Preferred Skills & Experience 5–8 years of experience in Martech implementation, CRM systems, or enterprise marketing automation. 3+ years of hands-on experience architecting and implementing Braze. Strong experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architecture. Experience integrating Braze with CRM, CDP (Segment, Tealium, mParticle, or similar), loyalty platforms, or eCommerce systems. Understanding of mobile SDK implementation (iOS, Android, React Native) from an architectural perspective. Experience designing event taxonomy and customer data models. Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or equivalent. Strong documentation, solution blueprinting, and client communication skills. Experience in retail tech, loyalty platforms, fintech, or SaaS environments is a plus. Ability to operate strategically while remaining technically hands-on when required.
