Rates: $110 - $140 per hour (inc. super)
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) seeks a suitably qualified CIAM Solution Architect to support the Digital ID project. The Solution Architect will be responsible for the quality of solution architecture work across an organisation. As the Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) Solution Architect, the resource will lead the Architecture, design and implementation of ASIC’s Customer Identity & Access Management solution.

Key duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the Architecture, design and implementation of ASIC’s Customer Identity & Access Management solution
  • Produce a Secure, Scalable and business friendly Customer Identity architecture.
  • Provide Solution designs and patterns for ASIC’s digital services to onboard to the new CIAM solution.
  • Provide Solution Designs for the integration of ASIC’s CIAM solution with third party Identity Providers including the Australian Government Digital ID System (AGDIS)
  • Adhere to the Australian Whole of Government Cyber Security Policy and standards such as the PSPF, ISM and Essential 8.
  • Take responsibility for Design and Architecture and adherence to ASIC wide Vision and Enterprise Architecture standards and blueprints
  • Lead teams (designers, other architects and developers) towards achieving whole of ASIC outcomes
  • Produce solution designs, integration designs and associated functional specifications
  • Provide leadership and guidance in the domains of Application Architecture and Identity Management

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in a similar CIAM or IDAM Solution Architecture role
  • TOGAF certification highly desirable
  • ArchiMate certification desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in information technology, computer science or related discipline

Knowledge and Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in designing Customer Identify and Access Management solutions for both user interface applications and machine to machine services
  • Expert knowledge of CIAM software solutions such as Okta/Auth0 and Ping Identity
  • Experience in CIAM integration with third party Identity Providers, preferably the Australian Government Digital ID System (AGDIS)
  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, standards such as SAML, OAuth and OICD, secure software development practices, credential management, cryptography and key management.
