Job title: Solution Architect (D & A Tools)

Salary: Circa £73000

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essential:

  • Proven background in Solution Architecture
  • Significant knowledge of Solution Architecture techniques including creating Roadmaps, High level designs and low-level designs
  • Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline STEM
  • Experience or understanding of TOGAF
  • Ability to communicate complex solutions at all levels including both the technical community and senior leadership teams

Desirable:

  • Working in a Data Domain space
Responsibilities
  • You will communicate to the business the concepts and benefits of Data Tools ensuring there is a common understanding of them and our intended use
  • Define processes, governance and standards for the development of Data solutions such as Master Data Management, Archiving and Data Catalogues
  • Collaborate with our group strategy team to ensure we have well defined and achievable roadmaps covering a 5 year horizon In conjunction with Group IM&T research and implement application toolchains for the Data tooling
  • Ensure all architectural and service documentation is created and maintained to a high standard for the all our data tools
  • Create Architectural high level solution designs for triaged Business Needs based on the derived business requirements
  • Ensure all architectural solutions are consistent with the Group IM&T and Shared Service D&A architectural principles, frameworks, models and company mandated standards
  • Ensure all architectural solutions are fully interoperable with existing solutions within the domain and it’s related domains
