This is a great opportunity to help shape and lead the development of our IT architecture and support its continuous development, providing IT services underpinning Staff and Students at ARU.
As part of a small team, you will lead on the architectural development of our technical services, with particular emphasis on data and integration. Your role will be instrumental in helping ARU craft its data strategy and ensuring the adherence to best practices in data management and integration. You will also collaborate with faculties and business functions to achieve their objectives by leveraging technology in their daily operations and research initiatives. Working with our Business Analyst you will ensure business objectives are well aligned with the technology to ensure high level of adoption. Effective communication, design collaboration, and consulting with relevant subject matter experts, both internally and externally will be crucial.
With a degree and/or equivalent professional certification e.g. TOGAF you will have a sound knowledge of IT architecture and emerging technologies. You will have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with experience of working in a large organisation. You will work with a broad range of technologies, in a predominantly Microsoft environment, developing and implementing organisation level Architecture policies and standards.
