ABOUT US

Our purpose is simple: to save lives at sea. 24 hours a day, every day, RNLI lifesavers are ready to launch to the rescue. We are known as a lifeboat and lifeguard service, famous for heroic acts of courage, but we’re more than a rescue organisation. We influence, supervise and educate people too. Increasingly, we are helping people to stay safe on the water. To do this, our teams need a dedicated, professional, and talented team behind them, and that’s where you come in. This is your chance to join that team and help save lives every day.
We are currently looking for a Solution Architect (Digital Transformation Target Architecture) to join us.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered as our new Lead Business Systems Analyst you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, particularly in Integration Architecture.
  • Strong background in data and applications.
  • Specialist knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday and Azure SaaS services
  • Experience in developing target architectures for digital transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with solution architects and data teams

We are looking for someone who has a strong track record of designing and delivering enterprise-scale architecture in complex environments and is comfortable working across both strategic and hands-on levels. You will be confident engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders, able to translate architectural thinking into actionable plans and committed to delivering value quickly. This role suits someone who thrives in a mission-driven organisation, can work at pace, and is motivated by the opportunity to shape the RNLI’s digital future. If this sounds like you – apply today!

Responsibilities

The RNLI is on a strategic transformation journey to enhance our digital estate, streamline information flow, improve integrations, and establish a robust Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). As part of this initiative, we are looking for an experienced Architect to define a comprehensive, detailed target architecture that will underpin current and future business needs.
In this role you will strive to ensure that our systems best support our organisational goals, and that information flows smoothly between them to enable us to deliver an architecture that best supports our volunteers, and our goal of saving every one.
