They create scalable, efficient, and secure IT systems to ensure alignment with business goals before, during, and after development. Our Architects possess a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities: Solution Architecture: Architect and design sophisticated software solutions of enterprise-caliber, tailored to meet the specific demands and strategic aspirations of our most prestigious clients. Incorporate frontend and backend programming technologies, SQL / NoSQL databases, on-premises / cloud infrastructure, intranet/extranet networking technologies, ensuring alignment with security and regulatory compliance standards. Software Assessments: Conduct comprehensive software assessments, creating visuals and documentation that clearly outline technical solutions and their business value. Create and document system's architecture following adopted models, templates, technologies, tools, principles and practices. Define business technology strategy. Drive the decision-making process for the architecture solution, considering all aspects such as enterprise, technologies, environments, principles, external parties. Analyze current industry and technology trends. Develop proof of concept prototypes for feasibility assessment of the chosen technology solution. Review development estimates, processes, practices and assess technical risks to assure high effectiveness and optimized implementation costs. Supervise and mentor development teams and provide technical support and guidance during project lifecycle. Qualifications Proven Advanced English communication and presentation abilities. Organizational and leadership skills. Good interpersonal skills, team player with the ability to influence others to move towards the consensus. Understand quality attributes (e.g.: performance, scalability, monitoring, usability) and their translation into business concerns. Knowledge of programming languages concepts, paradigms, frameworks, etc. Familiar with latest technology trends and ability to make the right assessments on technology choice. Understand key advantages and limitations of the commonly used technologies (databases, programming languages, network, infrastructure, etc.) Understand software product lifecycle. Ability to apply structured architectural approaches, architecture patterns and styles, modeling tools to capture key views and draw the architecture solution. Ability to propose architecture solutions based on cloud technologies and services. Additional information Hands-on experience and ability to develop PoC or other aspects of the project. Understand culture, political climate of the organization and have the ability to navigate through politics. Technical writing skills. Experience in planning and deploying joint IT & business initiatives. Understand business needs and project added value, including TCO. Ability to define and promote architecture principles. Familiar with cloud computing (cloud services and relevant technologies). Domain-Driven Design Mastery: Expertise in domain-driven design principles and proficiency with tools relevant to software architecture, such as RAIDs, C4s, Lean Value Trees. Methodological Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in Agile, DevOps, and familiarity with development tools like Eclipse, Visual Studio, and database software. Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams across North America, forming effective partnerships with client C-level and director-level leadership. Risk Management: Proficiency in risk assessment and management, complemented by a keen commercial acumen. Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent caliber of professional experience.
