OVERVIEW:

eNGINE is hiring a Solutions Architect on behalf of a Pittsburgh-based client for a hybrid position. We’re looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for designing enterprise-level technology solutions that drive business transformation. If you have at least 2 years of experience as a Solutions Architect and thrive at the intersection of business and technology, we want to hear from you.
Experience with Oracle Supply Chain, Maximo, or similar ERP tools is highly preferred.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in business and solution architecture or related roles.
• Minimum of 4 years in a Solutions Architect role.
• Expertise in enterprise systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms (especially Oracle Fusion, Azure).
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly in Supply Chain, Procurement, and Analytics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Supply Chain, IBM Maximo, or PowerPlan.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CBAP, Azure, Oracle).

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of robust, scalable technology solutions aligned with the company’s business objectives and IT roadmap. You’ll collaborate across departments to develop architectural blueprints and drive transformation in key areas such as supply chain, procurement, inventory management, and analytics.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated architect who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring peers, and contributing to both strategy and execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and architect end-to-end solutions based on business needs.
• Create architectural roadmaps and process documentation for current and future state.
• Align solutions with business goals, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Azure).
• Provide guidance to project teams throughout design and implementation.
• Conduct architectural reviews for compliance and best practices.
• Collaborate closely on Finance Transformation programs (Supply Chain, Procurement, etc.).
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Continuously assess and optimize the impact of deployed solutions.
