Description
Overview As a Solution Architect at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. You will gain vast industry experience that will open doors for you, extend your skillset and expand your perspective. We will empower, support, and enable you to take real responsibility in your role so that you can take charge of your career progression with us. For us lasting trusted relationships are everything, both with our teams and our clients. A global role with close collaboration with our Europe team, the Solution Architect will support the effective transition and continued service reliability of new services and technologies. This technology will be designed for operability and transitioned cleanly into IT support with the roles’ input and support. You will contribute to solution designs before go-live and then own and maintain operational artefacts, including runbooks, known error database entries, monitoring specifications, and configuration management database updates, through handover and early operations. You will coordinate across product owners, vendors, subject matter experts, and support teams, run war-rooms, drive problem management, and participate in triage when needed. The Opportunity In this role you will: Design for operability across all B-Dx services: embed non-functional requirements such as availability, capacity, performance, security, disaster recovery, recovery point objective, and recovery time objective into solution designs and keep them intact through change. Own transition artefacts: runbooks for level 1, level 2, and level 3; known error database entries; monitoring and alerting specifications; service level indicators and service level objectives; configuration management database updates and service mapping deltas. Prepare release readiness packs, lead hypercare planning, manage hypercare exit criteria, and ensure clean handover to IT support leadership. Define dashboards and alerts using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights; align events and incidents with ServiceNow; review Python and GitHub changes for operability impacts. Support incident, change, and configuration management database modules; ensure configuration management database hygiene, service mapping accuracy, and integration with monitoring and alerts. Run war-rooms for major incidents; facilitate problem reviews and ensure corrective actions are designed, implemented, and governed. Participate in CCoE and CAB (governance and forums); support design gates; attend post-incident reviews; help enforce the definition of ready for support. Act as the interlock across functional teams and product owners, vendor engineering teams, and internal subject matter experts. Contribute to drafting policies and procedures with the Enterprise Architect and Data Architect and help operationalise them in delivery and handover. Focus on continuous improvement: standardise artefacts, templatise handovers, and raise operability quality across all B-Dx services beyond the first tranche. Ensure knowledge capture, clear service mapping, and up-to-date documentation in ServiceNow and Confluence. We would love to hear from you if you: Have 5 to 8 or more years in solution architecture or senior engineering roles with strong support and operations exposure in cloud-centric environments. Azure with identity and integration patterns; strong experience with application programming interfaces and integrations; continuous integration and delivery with GitHub. Have experience with ServiceNow incident, change, and configuration management database modules, including data hygiene and handover workflows. Demonstrate incident and problem management involvement, ability to lead war-rooms, and collaborate across vendors. Are proficient with Jira and Confluence; comfortable reviewing Python changes in GitHub for operability and supportability impacts. Have Azure certifications such as AZ-305 or AZ-400, or equivalent cloud certifications with demonstrable transferability. Ideally have exposure to Oracle and Salesforce environments or knowledge of other cloud platforms with transferable skills. Have depth in observability practice, including service level objectives and service level indicators and dashboard design. Ideally have familiarity with security and compliance practices such as ISO 27001. Are detail oriented and quality focused with strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills. Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines. Comfortable working flexible hours to support a global team All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
