Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance, with the ability to obtain NV2 as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture or a related discipline.
- Proven expertise in engineering and software architecture design.
- In-depth understanding of infrastructure and networking.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of Defense frameworks and policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (ECM, Windows, SQL, Exchange, Active Directory), LINUX, VMware, Endpoint protection, and system management.
- Knowledge of Pegasus support processes and transition activities within the FVEY support and sustainment frameworks.

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to oversee the implementation and transition of Wintel/LINUX components, and drive technical innovations through the Defense change process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the implementation and transition to support Wintel/LINUX components.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Solution Architect to facilitate technical changes.
- Assist Business Analysts and Technical Writers in creating and reviewing technical support artifacts and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Produce comprehensive solution designs and functional specifications.
- Develop and execute migration plans in coordination with Subject Matter Experts, Project Managers, and Enterprise Architects.
- Conduct product selection, solution architecture assessments, and participate in workshops and design sessions.
- Apply architecture frameworks and service offerings, providing architectural guidance and technical management.
- Oversee the build resources, writing high-level designs, and reviewing detailed designs.
- Ensure the delivery of agreed solutions and perform additional tasks as requested by the program.
