NN Insurance Hungary is expanding its Data & AI capabilities and is looking for a Solution Architect to be part of this exciting journey. In this position, you will define and manage potential IT solutions regarding Data&AI in relation to specific business problems and needs, that involves tailoring IT solutions to specific business needs. Responsibilities: Design optimal solutions for business requirements with the aim to reusability, meaning to actively look for already approved and developed solutions in NN other entities, and also to make our solutions reusable by others Cooperate with system analysts on solution design, considering and utilizing capabilities of the systems and technologies in use Ensure harmonization of business requirements and in this sense actively cooperate with other architects (enterprise, solution, cloud, security), business and system analysts Identify security, business and operations risks related to IT and propose measures to mitigate them Discuss identified technical limitations with the BA for resolutions in order to find the best compromise between business requirements and IT solution architecture complexity, to maximize performance, reduce cost and implementation risks Perform a software selection analysis for the architecture components (and integration) based on the business requirements, as well as the security/architecture guidelines and policies Oversee development of test strategy, determine test environment requirements and tools What matters to us: Experience in enterprise environment, min. 5 years’ experience as a Solution Architect or similar role – preferably in the financial industry Agile development practice Ability to design complex systems and solutions that meet business needs Strong knowledge of architectural principles and design patterns Familiar with architecture modelling (Archimate) and tools (Sparx EA) Stay current with industry trends (e.g: Microservice, Micro-frontend) Knowledge of modern integration technologies (OpenAPI, Swagger, Web Service, API Management, Messaging systems eg.: MQ/Kafka) Broad knowledge of enterprise applications, including legacy systems Fluent English knowledge High level of logical thinking, ability of synthetic and analytical thinking; advanced negotiation skills An overview of current trends in database integration, web and IT infrastructure Understanding the business processes of the company and the ability to creatively translate these processes into an approved IT architecture Proactive, positive and solution focused personality What matters to you: Work in an eco-friendly open office built in 2020 and nominated for the "Office of the Year" award In 2025, NN Insurance received the Top Employer certification for the seventh time Becoming part of a flexible, supportive and agile team Average 1-2 office days per week, with possible ad-hoc deviations After probationary period, in addition to basic salary: cafeteria, health insurance, NN group life and accident insurance, and possible annual performance-related bonus Personal development and support programs Active Well-being support, health awareness presentations and training Family-friendly approach, because we put family first Volunteer weeks, because giving back is important Active sports life and variety of micro communities Advantages: Experience with insurance or financial area Experience with AI Azure/AWS knowledge Required for application: In case you are interested in our advertisement, we welcome your application via our Career Portal by attaching your CV, after which we will contact you shortly.
