Job Description: Experience Level: 10–15 years Designation: Manager / Solution Architect / Platinum Consultant ________________________________________ 🔍 Role Summary: This is a senior delivery and leadership role requiring deep technical ABAP skills and a strong focus on Data Migration in SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes. As the Technical Manager / Architect, you will design migration architecture, manage ABAP teams, ensure delivery excellence, and collaborate with functional and data leads to ensure successful and compliant SAP transformation. ________________________________________ 🎯 Responsibilities: 1. Technical Architecture & Strategy • Own the end-to-end ABAP architecture for large migration programs. • Define reusable frameworks for migration routines (ETL), validations, and reconciliation logic. • Design loosely coupled, performance-optimized ABAP code for handling millions of records. 2. Team Management & Delivery Oversight • Lead and mentor ABAP developers across geographies and experience levels. • Drive best practices for development, code versioning (Git), and transport management. • Plan sprint deliverables and drive timelines in agile or hybrid environments. 3. Migration & Integration Leadership • Work with SAP functional leads, data migration architects, and Basis teams for data load planning. • Execute mock runs, pre/post-load validations, and audit-ready reconciliation reporting. • Establish checks for duplicate data, referential integrity, and legacy compatibility. 4. Optimization & Governance • Establish ABAP code performance SLAs (specially in load scenarios). • Review and approve all technical deliverables from L1 to L3 consultants. • Collaborate with QA and Data Governance to ensure data compliance and traceability. ________________________________________ 🛠️ Skills Required: • 10–15 years in SAP ABAP with 5+ years in Data Migration programs. • Proven success in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects (greenfield/brownfield). • Deep knowledge of LSMW, IDocs, BAPIs, BDCs and custom migration routines. • Proficiency in designing reconciliation logic, delta management, and duplicate handling. • Exposure to clean core principles, CDS views, AMDP, and RAP (desirable). • Excellent documentation, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities. ________________________________________ ✅ Preferred: • SAP Certifications in ABAP, Data Migration, or S/4HANA. • Familiarity with SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, or 3rd party ETL tools. • Understanding of SAP Activate methodology, GIT-based ABAP transport management (GCTS), and DevOps pipelines. ________________________________________ Get empowered by NTT DATA Business Solutions!
