Company Description Job Description Role: Solution Architect Duration: Long Term Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite) Experience in Property and Casualty is Mandatory Need Solution Architect with deep expertise in the insurance industry to lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to architect end-to-end solutions across underwriting, claims, policy administration, customer engagement, and digital transformation initiatives. You will play a critical role in aligning IT strategy with business goals and ensuring technology solutions support our growth and innovation roadmap. Skills: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 4+ years as a Solution Architect in the insurance domain. Deep understanding of insurance business processes – underwriting, claims, policy lifecycle, reinsurance, and customer servicing. Hands-on experience with insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or similar. Strong expertise in enterprise integration (SOAP/REST APIs, ESBs), microservices, and event-driven architecture. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices. Familiarity with data architecture, analytics, and regulatory compliance in insurance. TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certifications. Experience with digital insurance technologies (chatbots, telematics, AI/ML, customer self-service portals). Working knowledge of core systems in Life or P&C insurance. Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements specific to the insurance sector. Deep understanding of insurance business processes – underwriting, claims, policy lifecycle, reinsurance, and customer servicing. Hands-on experience with insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or similar.
