Job description: We are looking for a Backend Architect / Lead who can take lead in setting up the architecture of our backend systems and services. The person needs to have a good experience in working with backend systems and orchestration services, preferably in an e commerce company. The person needs to have a good understanding of architectural principles and architectural patterns. Key Responsibilities: Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. Lead the rebuilding and modernization of systems into modern, cloud-native architectures. Define and enforce best practices in backend development, Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product and business goals. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools. Drive API design and integration strategies (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, etc.). Ensure systems are resilient, fault-tolerant, and meet SLAs. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

The Solution Architect will architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems while leading the modernization of existing systems into cloud-native architectures. They will also define best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with business goals.
