Essential requirements: Hands-on Data Architecture experience – Ability to design and implement data models, frameworks, and solutions (not just high-level strategy). Strong practical experience with GCP and modern cloud data platforms – Preferably BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Hadoop ecosystem, Kafka, etc. Expertise in Information Modelling (conceptual & logical) – Including Business Object Modelling (BOM) and modelling tools/frameworks. Solid experience across traditional and modern data landscapes – Data Warehousing, Big Data, Data Integration, physical data modelling. Strong analytical and communication skills – Able to understand complex business requirements and work closely with business, operations, and tech stakeholders. Meritorious: Experience as a Solution Architect in banking or financial services Familiarity with financial industry data standards and modelling best practices) Experience with modern data paradigms – Data Mesh, Domain-Driven Design, Data Products, Data Governance, Agile/SAFe ways of working. Strong collaborative and delivery-focused mindset
