The project focuses on re-platforming legacy systems onto a modern, SaaS-based, real-time card solution and uplifting integrations across the enterprise architecture.
This is a strategic and hands-on architecture leadership role where you’ll play a critical part in shaping and governing end-to-end solution design, integration strategy, and technical delivery across multiple domains including servicing, origination, fraud, rewards, and data.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, ideally within banking, financial services, or high-transaction environments.
  • Strong experience integrating new SaaS platforms into legacy ecosystems using APIs, microservices, and event-streaming architectures.
  • Proven experience in complex card or payment platform migrations.
  • Deep understanding of real-time integration, data streaming, identity & access management, and security best practices.
  • Hands-on knowledge of modern cloud-native technologies and platforms.

SOFT SKILLS

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and providing architecture governance in high-pressure environments.
  • Self-driven and proactive with a passion for modern architecture trends and technologies.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Solution Architect, you will:

  • Lead the onboarding and integration of a new SaaS-based cards platform into an existing enterprise architecture.
  • Drive architectural planning for back-book migration, new product onboarding, and real-time integration with surrounding systems.
  • Collaborate with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment with target-state architecture and strategic outcomes.
  • Ensure delivery quality by providing technical leadership across multiple workstreams and enabling governance, scalability, and security best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and maintain end-to-end solution architecture for the cards platform uplift.
  • Establish integration strategies using modern patterns (APIs, event-driven architecture, batch).
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to validate architectural patterns and platform capabilities.
  • Ensure architectural alignment across core capabilities such as servicing, fraud management, rewards, and data.
  • Provide solution governance and oversight throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Translate regulatory and product needs into scalable, compliant technical solutions.
  • Participate in vendor assessments and offer technical recommendations to bridge gaps.
  • Mentor developers and integration engineers while acting as a technical bridge between business and technology stakeholders.
