They are involved in defining and driving forward a holistic cloud solution architecture for product-independent digital services along the 2026–2027 roadmap.
They work closely with product management, engineering, operations, and security to translate business initiatives into scalable technical solutions.
They design secure, reliable, and cost-effective architectures based onzero, including compute, networking, storage, data, integration and AI services.
They introduce and ensure compliance with architectural standards, reference patterns, andzero-Checkpoints in accordance with the specifications of the Enterprise Architecture
They conduct architecture reviews, technical risk assessments, and architecture decisions across multiple parallel programs.
They are responsible for developing event-driven and basedzerobased solution architectures that support interoperability, reuse and long-term maintainability.
They support the implementation teams with solution finding assistance, architectural artifacts, and utilize the documented decisions – from conception to implementation.
They support initiatives for cloud optimization, taking into account implementation efficiency, service reliability, and total cost of ownership.
They train solution architects and engineering teams and contribute to the relevant communities and forums.

Qualifications

Education: You have a completed degree in business informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field. Extensive professional experience in enterprise solution architecture, software development, or a comparable technical area, acquired in complex and large-scale corporate environments.
Experience and knowledge:
In-depth knowledge ofzeroCloud Platform and its infrastructure services, in particular Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity, Security, Monitoring andzero.
Solid understanding of solution architecture frameworks and methods (e.g. arc42), including documentation and execution of architecture reviews.
Practical experience withzeroas well as service-oriented and event-driven architectural patterns.
Solid background in software development with Java,zeroor comparable technology stacks, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams.
Practical experience with Linux-based environments and cloud operations.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation, for example with ARM, Bicep, Pulumi andzero-Pipelines.
A solid understanding of security, compliance, resilience and operational excellence in large-scale cloud solutions.
Experience in solution contexts involving AI/ML and IoT is highly desirable.
Proven experience in Enterprise Solution Architecture with a strong focus on cloud-native platforms and distributed systems.
Personality and working style: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, coach architects and engineers, and communicate effectively with executives and other senior stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, combined with a proven track record of achieving measurable business results, particularly in cost optimization, efficiency improvement, and reliability enhancement.
Languages: Fluent English skills and good German skills.
