Role Purpose / SummaryThe Solution Architect acts as the trusted advisor and technical authority for designing, validating, and articulating multi-technology solutions that meet customer needs and partner strategy while safeguarding commercial and technical integrity. This role combines deep technical expertise with pre-sales engagement, enabling partners through workshops, demonstrations, and training while supporting sales teams in achieving revenue and profitability targets. Success requires translating complex architectures into clear business value, maintaining vendor certifications, and ensuring first-time-right solution design. • Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Design & Validation• Design complete, scalable solutions across multiple technology domains.• Validate technical, operational, and commercial feasibility; approve or adjust designs as required.• Provide configuration details, bill-of-materials, and technical validation for quotes prepared by Sales or Internal Sales Support teams.Partner & Customer Enablement• Deliver technical sessions, workshops, and hands-on training for partners and internal teams.• Lead solution demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to showcase value and differentiation.• Act as a visible technical ambassador at partner and vendor events.Cross-Functional Collaboration• Work closely with Sales and Vendor teams to support joint solution execution.• Coordinate with vendor technical teams to confirm design compliance and access latest innovations.Field Engagement• Maintain regular presence with partners and customers to position solutions and gather insights.• Participate in roadshows, exhibitions, and technical events to reinforce solution leadership.Knowledge Development & Innovation• Maintain up-to-date vendor certifications and cross-domain expertise (cloud, networking, security, collaboration).• Share knowledge internally through training and mentoring programs.• Contribute to process improvements and best-practice documentation for solutioning workflows.Must-Have Skills & Experience• Proven experience in pre-sales or solution architecture roles.• Strong technical knowledge across multiple IT domains and vendor ecosystems.• Ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.• Language: English and German is mandatory.• Key vendors for this role include CrowdStrike, Zscaler, HPE/Juniper, Vectra AI, Sonar, Cloudflare, and Palo Alto Networks.
