JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of AWS and Snowflake technologies and a proven track record in deploying cloud solutions. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud-based architectures to meet business needs while ensuring security and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AWS and Snowflake solutions to meet business objectives
• Evaluate security risks and implement countermeasures for cloud based solutions
• Investigate methods to improve cost efficiency and scalability of cloud based solutions
• Provide guidance and mentoring to DevOps CICD team members
• Identify gaps and improvements of existing cloud based solutions

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of AWS and Snowflake technologies and a depth of experience deploying solutions in AWS and Snowflake
• Expertise managing and deploying Snowflake Accounts, warehouses, databases, objects, etc.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into cloud based technical solutions
• Experience with ETL tools and methodologies
• Strong understand of security hardening and concepts within cloud frameworks
• Knowledgeable about AWS VPCs, PrivateLinks, routing, firewalls, and other network technologies
• Exposure to Azure technologies and resource management
• Languages: Python, Terraform, SQL, Snowflake SQL, Shell, Github, DevOps
• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect , AWS Certified Advanced networking, and AWS Certified Machine Learning a plus.
