JOB SUMMARY

Infor is expanding our presales Solution Consulting and looking for a Solution Consultant to develop and present our industry-leading solutions across the Commercial market. In this role you’ll bring your industry experience in food & beverage, distribution, supply chain and/or manufacturing functions, along with your experience in enterprise technology and digital transformation. This role will focus on presales engagements across different functions around either procure to pay (procurement), order to cash, finance, product lifecycle management for food processing (PLM), and/or quality management. Underpinning your delivery of these functions will be a deep understanding of and ability to undertake presales engagements as required
The successful Solution Consultant possesses a strong business acumen and an ability to understand and translate our customers’ business needs and challenges to deliver strategic, customer-aligned and industry competitive solutions. You will use your detailed knowledge of the industry and customer throughout your engagements from discovery, value-based demos, proof of concept to showcase Infor solutions and their application to solve business problems. As a presales professional, you will be equally at home delivering remote
demonstrations as you are with in-person engagements with customers from end-users to management and c-level members. You will be confident in delivering solution demonstrations focused on out-of-the-box product functionality and capability and have the technical, configuration and rapid prototyping skills enabling delivery of tailored, high quality presentations and product demonstrations. Solution Consultants within our presales team work closely with the sales and marketing teams to provide compelling solutions, presentations and demonstrations while becoming the trusted advisor of our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Confidently articulate, present and demonstrate the business value of Infor’s application solutions for procure to pay (procurement), order to cash, finance, PLM for food processing, and/or quality management.
  • Demonstrate Infor solutions in a way that clearly differentiates us from the competition.
  • Scope, build, and present tailored demonstrations and proof of concepts that connect to tangible business outcome(s).
  • Configure Infor applications and integrations through rapid prototyping to showcase the feasibility of the Infor applications, enabling product demonstrations that confirm the business value that Infor CloudSuite M3 can deliver.
  • Analyse the customer’s business requirements and through visioning conversations articulate the business benefits and value of Infor solutions as you collaboratively build strategic Infor technology roadmap.
  • Translate customer needs and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions and proposals.
  • Scope, define and design solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions based on Infor CloudSuite M3
  • Review upcoming product functionality and update demonstration environments to showcase new capabilities – share configurations with Solution Consulting team.
  • Research and document product, technical, and non-functional responses on RFIs and RFPs.
  • Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
  • Partner with sales in assisting with planning account strategy.
  • Partner with consulting to translate business and technical requirements into high level project and architectural blueprints that achieves the customer’s desired business outcomes, including identifying solutions; support the transition from sales to implementation services.
  • Assist in the creation of delivery roadmaps, estimates and project timelines.
  • Flexibility to travel as required throughout Pacific region with some overseas travel for customer engagements and for personal development training.

Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Experience working with procure to pay (procurement), order to cash, finance, PLM for food processing, and/or quality management applications/functions - cloud-based applications preferred.
  • Tertiary qualification in a business-related field is preferred.
  • Experience in comparable pre-sales or consulting positions or customer user, supporting complex sales cycles selling
  • Excellent technical understanding of cloud concepts and services, software platforms, application integration, data lakes and technical architecture.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Infor CloudSuite M3 (Optional)’ be better as ‘Minimum 2 years’ experience with ERP experience e.g. Infor, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics etc. or other relevant enterprise application
