Strong technical and implementation experience with industry leading Name Screening Technology products. Preferably with Net Reveal (Symphony AI) and/or Quantified products.
Readiness and motivation to direct and collaborate with large and diverse groups or project teams focused on complex development, system enhancements, new releases, large-scale applications, projects across multiple product lines, businesses, involving significant scope and complexity.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of businesses and/or organizational practices and disciplines. Advanced knowledge of name screening components, business process and technology involved.
Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
Graduate Degree preferred.
Additional Information:
Responsible for developing and documenting detailed solution design within SDS and act as an application SME through the design and development lifecycle ensuring alignment with architecture.
May also be accountable for complex applications/systems development, programming /coding.
Lead the creation of solution options and ultimately a comprehensive end-to-end solution and coordinate relevant stakeholders, as required to support development initiatives.
Provide estimates for new projects and initiatives for the development / design component of the plan working with relevant team members / stakeholders.
Develop functional, technical and user interface designs for an application / system that meets the defined requirements (business, enterprise architecture direction, system performance and development standards).
Consult on development of the System Requirements Specification (SRS) and apply functional knowledge of business functions to design optimal software / systems.
Review technical deliverables throughout detailed design and development phase to ensure quality adherence and identify gaps or redesign requirements as needed.
Work with the Technology Project Manager, Business Analysts / Systems Analysts, and other team members to define metrics and performance goals for the application.
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality, standards compliance, reusability and ease of maintenance, Operational Readiness Reviews, and supporting gating and review sign-offs for solution design.
Support knowledge management processes for LOB / portfolio and ensure knowledge is codified, monitored, tracked and managed.
Ensure design leverages existing reusable components and has traceability to business requirements and ensure new modules are designed with reusability as a key requirement.

Solution Design IT Specialist leads the creation of a comprehensive end to end detailed solution with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of the System Design Specifications (SDS) and is largely focused on large scale, complex or enterprise projects. May also be accountable for complex programming or coding. It’s a big and busy mandate and there’s room to grow in all of it.

As the Solution Design IT Specialist, you will be responsible for technical plans / coordinating and integrating activities, systems analysis, design, development, unit, and component systems testing adhering to well-defined enterprise technology delivery practices and standards supporting all aspects of run, change and transform the bank.
Solution Design IT Specialist is a professional field that generally requires formal education or specialized technology experience along with a thorough understanding of the businesses supported, strong knowledge of programming languages, and sound and standard design principles.
Designer role may have a specialization or area of focus (e.g. mobile, digital, cloud, host, HTML, Web, On-line, APIs and/or other emerging technologies etc.,) and will apply deep expertise and skills within a narrow business line or broadly across the organization.
Role will work closely with technology Project Managers, Delivery / Partner Management, Business Analysts / Systems Analysts, Testing / Quality Assurance teams, sponsors and relevant stakeholders to clarify requirements, develop technical plans and strategies.
Role will have overall accountability for end-to-end development and integration of solutions, detailed design and delivery of the System Design Specification (SDS) and Component Design activities and will also be involved in more complex work requiring collaboration with other enterprise CoEs (e.g. Architecture, Information Security etc.) and providing guidance / leadership in managing significantly large teams.
You will be building and maintaining strong relationships with business and technology partners This role will typically work in partnership with project/program Delivery leads and will aid in supporting the technology team to meet commitments and delivery on the project/program objectives.
