Solution Designer – Digital Consumer Finance Technology Create your best future and join Westpac as a Solution Designer. Sydney based. Hybrid. What’s the role? This is a hands‑on engineering position supporting major customer‑facing platforms across cards servicing and loyalty. You’ll design, build and maintain modern front‑end and back‑end solutions, while also helping resolve complex technical incidents to ensure reliability and stability. You’ll work in a dynamic, agile team contributing to key transformation programmes, including UNITE. Based in Sydney. Full‑time. What do I need? Experience of building solutions for complex applications to achieve customer outcomes Strong front‑end skills (React.js, HTML5, CSS3) and back‑end engineering with Java/Spring Boot. Ability to support distributed systems, microservices and APIs. Experience with troubleshooting, incident resolution and system resilience. Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and modern engineering practices. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving capability. Why join us?
