We are seeking an experienced Solution Designer to join our client’s team in the telecom domain. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to translate complex business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 9+ years of IT experience with at least 4+ years in solution design within the telecom domain.
  • Strong knowledge of telecom BSS/OSS systems (Order Management, Billing, CRM, Product Catalog, Service Assurance, Provisioning).
  • Experience in solution architecture/design for large-scale telecom transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as TM Forum Frameworx (eTOM, SID, TAM).
  • Good understanding of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, APIs, ESB, Microservices).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is an advantage.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to translate technical concepts for business teams.
  • Telecom domain experience with Australian clients (Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, NBN, etc.) is highly desirable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in TOGAF, TM Forum, or cloud architecture.
  • Prior experience in Agile/DevOps environments.

SOFT SKILLS

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus across diverse teams.
  • Proactive and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced telecom environment.
