As a Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales), you will be responsible for uncovering and understanding customer business issues and problems and finding solutions to resolve those challenges leveraging our technology platform. You will be responsible for having a deep understanding of our platforms and be able to articulate value of our tools. As a Solution Engineer, you will work collaboratively with both new logo account executives and strategic account partners within new and existing opportunities. This role required a deep understanding of our technology stack, excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chem/Bio Engineering, Life Sciences or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, pre-sales, technical sales, or Quality/Compliance roles in pharma/biotech.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (ICH Q8/Q9/Q10, FDA Process Validation, EMA Annex 15, etc), CMC data structures and CPV methodologies.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling abilities — able to communicate complex technical workflows in a way that resonates with executives, QA leaders, and scientists.
  • Proven track record in delivering software demos, conducting workshops, and supporting enterprise SaaS sales cycles.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-impact customer demos and workshops focused on business value and adoption of ValGenesis Process Lifecycle Suite (PLS – containing two applications iCMC & iCPV). adoption.
  • Act as trusted advisor during pre-sales, helping clients translate regulatory and operational requirements into solution use cases.
  • Serve as technical subject matter expert for pharma the life sciences industry, specifically for clients evaluating PLS adoption.
  • Support client discovery sessions by gathering requirements and mapping them to ValGenesis workflows.
  • Collaborate with Sales on RFPs, solution positioning and business case development.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to refine customer needs and provide feedback based on the product roadmap.
