Your impact:

As a Solution Engineer Purchasing / Procurement (m/f/d), you will support our customers in the introduction of purchasing technologies / processes throughout all project phases and ensure high-quality solutions in direct and indirect purchasing:

• Support: Across all industries, you will support tool-based procurement of various product groups at both national and international levels and accompany (public) tendering processes at the operational or tactical level.
• Collaboration : You will quickly become an indispensable member of a multidisciplinary and international team in an agile environment.
• Strategies : Through independent market and procurement analyses, you develop appropriate product group and procurement strategies.
• Negotiation : You independently conduct contract negotiations and bidder communications in cooperation with the buyers and stakeholders.
• Responsibility : Independent participation in large and future-oriented projects for the redesign of essential infrastructure at the national and European level.

Your skillset:

• Degree (Bachelor's, Diploma from a University of Applied Sciences) in Business Administration or Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Public Administration or comparable qualifications, ideally with sound knowledge in the field of materials management/purchasing
• Professional experience is desirable in (in)direct purchasing and ideally includes knowledge of the end-to-end purchasing process, as well as knowledge of support processes in supplier and commodity group management or applications of public procurement procedures according to GWB, VgV, UVgO, HOAI and VOB.
• Ideally, experience or certifications for SAP Ariba, AI Procurement Manager, DTP platform, Coupa, iValua, MS Office or other procurement tools.
• High level of initiative , affinity for new technologies (e.g., application and co-development of AI tools), as well as motivation and enjoyment for further developing one's own technical understanding.
• Safe and responsible use of AI to create high-quality analyses and customer solutions, as well as for the critical validation of AI results.
