Description

The Solution Engineer, Sr serves as a trusted partner to the salesforce (direct and channel) by providing in-depth knowledge of the technical requirements and business use of our products in order to close ERP sales opportunities. This role will be responsible for solutions across multiple Epicor product lines.
We are looking for someone whose has in-depth business knowledge of manufacturing companies. They will partner with the sales team and our Channel partners to demonstrate our Manufacturing ERP products, providing in-depth knowledge aligned with the prospects needs.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Deep experience of business operations within Manufacturing companies
  • Experience of giving customer presentations and delivering professional value-based demonstrations
  • Database skills and relevant technical knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working for an ERP vendor or Channel partner in a consulting or pre-sales capacity.
  • Proven industry experience
  • Degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities
  • Meet with prospects and customers for discoveries, orchestrating focused demonstrations and follow up discussions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations, creating documentation as necessary to support the sales process
  • Create demonstrations that are configured to each customer, focused on business benefits and delivered on-site or remotely
  • Communicate clearly with post sales and product management teams
  • Be self-motivated to improve skills both technical and soft, recommend enhancements to product to close gaps and assist with roadmaps
  • Present at customer events and trade shows
