We evaluate our customers' applications and business requirements, design and recommend solutions that meet their requirements, and demonstrate these solutions and their business value to win technical decisions and subsequent productive rollouts. As a Solution Engineer manager for our German public sector customers you bring impactful industry insights and technology solutions into customer engagements and coach and influence others internally on how to do this. You will be responsible for scaling and collaboration by guiding your team to cooperate with account teams, partners and product engineering. You will champion sales excellence in your team and be accountable for driving people management strategies. Minimum: A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g. computer science, information technology, software engineering, or similar) or comparable work experience The ability to explain complex technical concepts to senior decision makers coupled with a strong business and sales mindset A deep passion for people management and development paired with a deep passion for technology and how it can make a positive impact on business and people Significant work experience in designing/implementing information technology solutions, technical sales and/or consulting Solid technical and business expertise on the concepts and applications of cloud computing, data and application platforms and modern software development A thorough understanding on the concepts, applications and current developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) An outcome focused “can do” attitude paired with constant, self-motivated learning and a collaborative approach Experience leading and working in blended, multidisciplinary teams Fluency in English and also the German language required by our public sector customers, and eligible to work in Germany. Previous people management experience Experience with change management Existing network/experience in the German public sector customer and/or partner ecosystem As manager of the Solution Engineer Team for the Cloud and AI Platform technologies (Azure, github, Visual Studio etc.) you will be a transformative leader, responsible for driving with your team our customers' business success through deep technology expertise. You will model, coach, and care for your team, fostering a high-performance culture of excellence. Your broad technical expertise combined with your architectural oversight will establish your credibility, while your ability to lead and develop a top-tier team through robust talent management, coaching, and mentoring will drive business performance. To be successful with your team you ensure a close collaboration with the wider organization and partner ecosystem including the customer-focused account sales teams, the customer success teams and the international product engineering teams.
