Description
As Solution Owner for EV Fast Charging and Load Management Systems (Depot & In-Transit applications), you drive Schneider Electric’s end-to-end solution strategy across Power Systems, Services, MicroGrid, Prosumers, Digital Power, and One Solutions Operations. You own the solution vision, lifecycle, and business performance, ensuring customer value, technical consistency, and cross-organization alignment. Your missions : 1. Define the Solution Strategy & Value Proposition • Analyze customer needs, market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to steer the solution vision. • Define value propositions, use cases, business models, pricing, early-adopter targets, and go-to-market strategy. • Build business cases and influence LoBs to prioritize segment requirements. • Lead market research (personas, win/loss analysis) and manage formal customer feedback loops. • Contribute to service offers and customer success stories. 2. Lead End-to-End Program Execution • Build and manage MVPs, pilot phases, and scaling efforts across LoBs and solution teams. • Secure alignment on backlog priorities, release plans, and Definition of Done. • Validate deliverables from squads and ensure system consistency across hardware, software, and digital layers. • Maintain solution portfolio post-launch (upgrades, adaptations, quality, cybersecurity). 3. Build, Prioritize & Communicate Backlogs and Roadmaps • Own the backlog and challenge incoming requests. • Prioritize features based on value, feasibility, customer needs, quality, and TTM. • Communicate roadmap, release plans, and priorities to internal and external stakeholders. 4. Drive Agile Delivery & Sprint Outcomes • Define sprint objectives, success criteria, and iterative deliverables aligned with solution goals. • Ensure teams understand backlog items and build realistic yet ambitious sprint commitments. • Integrate learnings from retrospectives to improve future work. 5. Remove Obstacles & Ensure Robust Delivery • Act as the “voice of the customer” for squads. • Balance parameters such as cost, schedule, product robustness, business impact, and innovation. • Coordinate with Product Squads and companion teams across LoBs. General 6. Foster Collaboration & Leadership • Lead and motivate the cross-functional Solution Team. • Promote transparency, alignment, and a collaborative environment. • Represent the team in trade-off decisions and celebrate successes. 7. Ensure Charging System Interoperability (Industry Must-Have) EV charging reliability depends heavily on interoperability across chargers, grid systems, and backend platforms, using standards such as OCPP. • Ensure interoperability of the end-to-end EV fast-charging solution (hardware + backend). 8. Drive Performance, Uptime & Load Management Strategy • Integrate industry standards (e.g., OCPP, Modbus) and ensure compatibility across manufacturers. CPOs are responsible for uptime, load balancing, smart charging, and grid compliance — critical to customer satisfaction. • Define solution performance KPIs (uptime, load distribution efficiency, charging reliability). • Oversee smart charging, energy optimization, and load management architecture. Your profile : • Master’s degree in Engineering and/or Business. • 10+ years in product management, solution architecture, or project development. • 5+ years in Agile delivery environments. • Strong knowledge of EV charging ecosystems, microgrids, depot/in-transit use cases, charging point owners, and OEM personas. • Expertise in MV/LV, transformers, EV chargers, digital platforms, and flexibility services. • Experience in mobility or e-mobility markets; sales/business development is a plus. • Strong understanding of load management technologies (Modbus, OCPP…). • Skilled in stakeholder communication and leading cross-functional teams.
