The Solution Specialist serves as a key technical resource for commercial customers, demonstrating the value of products and services to drive interest and sales. This role involves conducting in-depth technical sales discovery to uncover customer challenges, business objectives, and existing workflows. Using this insight, the Solution Specialist creates current state architecture diagrams to visualize operational inefficiencies and identify opportunities for improvement with suitable solutions.
In addition to technical discovery and solution mapping, the Solution Specialist delivers engaging product demonstrations, showcasing key features, integrations, and real-world use cases to highlight the platform’s impact. As a trusted technical expert, they collaborate with sales and customer success teams to ensure customers fully understand and maximize the benefits of the solutions.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in a Solution Specialist or similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Excellent written communication, work ethic, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills and understanding of customer communication.
  • Adaptive mindset, eager to learn new product suites, understand and communicate changes to existing products.
  • Fluent English (mandatory).
Responsibilities
  • Conducting technical sales discovery to understand customer challenges, pain points, and business objectives, enabling tailored product positioning.
  • Creating current state architecture diagrams to illustrate existing workflows and identify areas for improvement with PagerDuty solutions.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that showcase key features, integrations, and value propositions.
  • Apply product knowledge of PagerDuty to advise on optimal solutions for streamlining and improving tooling, processes, and operations for customers.
  • Answer and triage product questions for customers during pre-sales engagement.
