Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Beusa The Woodlands Corporate Office - The Woodlands, TX 77380 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Department: Solutions Analyst Job Status: Full Time FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Enterprise Applications Manager Location: The Woodlands, TX Amount of Travel Required: Less than 25% Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am – 5pm Positions Supervised: None POSITION SUMMARY: The Solutions Analyst will work closely with key stakeholders and business users to identify gaps in current technologies, opportunities for new technology implementations, and improvements to processes that align with business goals. The Solutions Analyst bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions, facilitating collaboration sessions, gathering requirements, and supporting all aspects of the SDLC. The Solutions Analyst will also act as the administrator for new and current technologies, proactively anticipating opportunities, identifying gaps, and initiating discussions with business leaders and stakeholders. Additionally, as a Solutions Analyst, this role will translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications and workflows, analyze enterprise application architecture, and develop technical solution designs. The Solutions Analyst will coordinate with stakeholders, collaborate with development teams and vendors, and provide technical documentation and post-implementation support. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.") Engage with business partners (single LOB) to understand vision and overall business strategies. Proactively initiate discussions and requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to define needs and understand limitations. Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into technical documentation, such as mapping documents, flow charts, test plans, and RTMs for developers. Organize collaboration session cadences through the life cycle of a project or system as needed to remove roadblocks and bridge communication gaps. Support business partners in user-acceptance testing (UAT), including environment stabilization, test setup, test execution, and review of test results. Collaborate with Solutions Analysts, Data Analysts, and Developers to brainstorm on technology solutions, coordinate user acceptance testing, and establish project timelines. Translate functional requirements provided by the Business Analyst in the Digital Program Group into detailed technical specifications and workflows for implementation by developers. Analyze existing enterprise application architecture to identify integration points, system enhancements, and areas for process optimization, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Develop and document technical solution designs, including system configurations, data flow diagrams, and process maps, for review by the Enterprise Applications Manager. Coordinate with stakeholders across business units to validate proposed solutions, address gaps in requirements, and ensure compatibility with enterprise data standards and governance practices. Collaborate with development teams and third-party vendors during the solution implementation process to address issues, troubleshoot technical challenges, and manage escalations. Create and execute detailed test plans in collaboration with the Enterprise Data Team, conducting system and integration testing to ensure compliance with requirements and enterprise standards. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, managing stakeholder feedback, and ensuring identified defects are tracked and resolved promptly. Provide technical documentation and end-user guides for implemented solutions, ensuring they meet both technical standards and user accessibility requirements. Act as the primary point of contact for post-implementation support, monitoring solution performance, addressing technical issues, and recommending improvements in collaboration with the Enterprise Applications Manager. Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity. Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Must have dependable transportation to commute to the worksite consistently, as public transportation may not be available or feasible for the location. Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing, including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s). EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business analytics, accounting, or finance strongly preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate business environment or similar role with a focus on business analytics and technology solutions. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with ERP, SQL Databases, and Power BI/Tableau Reporting solutions. Familiarity with at least one agile framework (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) May be required to perform or learn some technical functions at a modest to reasonable level. Microsoft Azure Services (preferred) Scrum Master Certified or CBAP (preferred) QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES Experience with implementation and integration of ERP systems, Oracle Fusion preferred. Experience integrating Oracle Fusion with Databricks for data processing and analytics. Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, Agile and Scrum frameworks. Hands-on experience with SQL for querying and data manipulation. Expertise in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams.
