YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. As Solutions & Applications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing accurate and competitive bids, estimates, and quotations that align with customer specifications, requirements, and budgets. Your expertise will help drive profitability while ensuring our offerings remain market leading. In this role, you’ll also foster strong collaboration across ABB business units and maintain productive, long-term relationships with customers in your area of responsibility, ensuring seamless alignment and delivering exceptional value.

  • Develops competitive bids and quotations using optimal product and technical solutions.
  • Builds strong customer relationships to understand needs and enhance satisfaction.
  • Manages technical, financial, and project elements of proposals.
  • Provides cross-functional support and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in solution/application sales, business development, or portfolio management.
  • Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, go-to-market planning, and sales enablement tools.
  • Proven ability to manage accounts and drive customer success across complex sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with contract and risk management, regulatory compliance, and market intelligence.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with experience working across sales, legal, and technical teams
