BJC is currently seeking a Solutions Architect to support our portfolios of applications within Shared Services. This role will be responsible for ensuring supported applications continually meet business requirements, financial management is well maintained, and developing multi year lifecycle roadmaps with stakeholders. Ideal candidate will have a background in Project Management or Porfolio Management. This is a remote position.(Must be located in MO or IL).

Responsible for effective project development and implementation which yield desired business results and the management of capital project scope, functionality, budgets, milestones, and workflow integration.

Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

The Solutions Architect is responsible for technical planning, architecture development and design specifications including ensuring IT solutions meet business requirements and align with long-term architectural goals, standards and principles. They will provide technical expertise and leadership during the design, build and operations phases and monitor emerging technologies for possible use in the enterprise.Epic or applicable certifications will be required within 6 months of hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contributes to the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure and/or functional areas. Creates detailed design and solution architecture documents. Aligns solutions with enterprise standards, principles and reference architectures.
  • Provides technical advice in their area of expertise. Actively maintains knowledge in one or more IT domains.Collaborates with internal teams and vendors to identify and resolve issues in solution development and implementation.Develops and presents findings and guidance to selected audiences.
  • Supports monitoring of new and emerging IT technologies. Contributes to the creation of reports, technology road mapping and the sharing of knowledge and insights.
  • Designs system components using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed architectures, design standards, patterns and methodology. Identifies and evaluates alternative design options and trade-offs. Creates multiple design views to address the concerns of the different stakeholders and to handle functional and non-functional requirements.
