Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Solutions Architect – Channel at Megaport, you’ll support and scale our most strategic partners across the indirect ecosystem, including Agents, Data Center Partners, Value-Added Resellers (VARs), and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). You’ll serve as the technical backbone of the Channel team—designing scalable solutions, enabling partner success, and accelerating cloud networking adoption. This role is perfect for someone who combines strong technical depth with a passion for partner enablement. You’ll work hands-on with partners to educate, design, and drive network solutions powered by Megaport’s global Software Defined Network.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Act as the primary technical resource for the Channel Sales team, supporting sales opportunities with Agents, Data Center Partners, VARs, and MSPs.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops to partner sales and technical teams.
  • Translate partner business requirements into cloud and network architecture solutions using Megaport’s platform and APIs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to partners—guiding network design, integration strategies, and multicloud architecture best practices.
  • Enable and onboard partner teams with technical training, sales certifications, and architecture resources.
  • Develop joint solution architectures and integration use cases across our partner landscape.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Global Solutions Architects and Direct Sales teams to drive regional growth and technical alignment.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our API and Terraform capabilities to support custom partner integrations.
  • Represent Megaport at industry events and partner summits as a technical subject matter expert.
