We are excited to offer the role of a Cloud & Infrastructure Architect Purpose: This role plays a crucial role in shaping and governing our cloud and infrastructure strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives, technology trends, and industry best practices. The role is responsible for defining, standardising, and overseeing cloud infrastructure, hybrid environments, and core IT systems, ensuring performance, security, scalability, and operational excellence. This position is integral to the delivery of resilient, cost-effective, and high-performing cloud and infrastructure services across the organisation. The architect will work closely with Architecture team, project teams, and external partners to guide technology decision-making and enforce best practices. This role will be based in our Surry Hills office and with an expectation of working at least 3 days a week in office and 2 days from home.    Responsibilities include: * Establishing and governing cloud and infrastructure strategies, ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements. * Designing and maintaining enterprise cloud and infrastructure architectures to enable scalability, security, and high availability. * Developing and enforcing architecture standards, patterns, and best practices for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. * Leading technology selection, evaluation, and adoption for infrastructure, networks, storage, and cloud services. * Ensuring security, compliance, and resilience across all cloud and infrastructure solutions. * Collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to deliver integrated and optimised infrastructure solutions that support business initiatives. * Enhancing architecture governance processes to align infrastructure decisions with enterprise strategies. * Driving innovation by evaluating and incorporating emerging technologies to optimise Blackmores’ cloud and infrastructure landscape. *   What we offer? * A role that will work closely with the business stakeholders and IT teams to define, govern and optimise cloud and infrastructure solutions to meet Blackmores business and technology needs and objectives * Opportunities to support your local community through paid community leave * A socially responsible work environment, on track to be carbon neutral by 2030 * Great benefits to support your health and wellbeing, including access to discounted products * Mental health support for you and your family through our Sonder assistance program   Who are you? * At least 15 years or more of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in an infrastructure-related role. * AT least 2 years or more of Cloud Architecture experience. * Extensive knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure ecosystems, Google Cloud Compute & Terraform * Strong expertise in Azure Cloud architecture across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. * Exposure to Google Cloud Platform across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. * Experience in designing and delivering large-scale infrastructure solutions across complex environments. * Familiarity with both agile and waterfall delivery models. * Strong understanding of IT governance, security standards, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ITIL, CSA, OWASP, ISO2700x). * Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and customer service skills. * Ability to provide hands-on technical guidance and coaching to teams, in particular handover of knowledge to technical teams. * Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors. * Cloud hyper-scaler certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP). * Understanding of TOGAF Framework * Experience architecting solutions in TGA-regulated environments is highly desirable. * Good stakeholder management skills with experience managing relationships with peers in IT and the wider business    Blackmores Group is a leading natural health company with proud Australian heritage, with extensive reach across Asia Pacific.  Founded by visionary naturopath Maurice Blackmore in 1932, our vision is to connect every person on earth to the healing power of nature by combining our knowledge of nature and science to deliver quality health solutions to people and their pets everywhere, every day.
