Position Purpose: The purpose of this role is to generate project demand for low and medium voltage power distribution systems, associated services and studies. This SME will execute an equipment assessment and consulting methodology directly with industrial manufactures and utilities, collaborating with equipment suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to deliver power system modernization solutions. The scope of applications includes the following products and related services: Medium and Low voltage switchgear Medium and low voltage breaker upgrades and retrofits Low voltage switchboards and Panelboards Power monitoring applications and platforms Electrical studies & services Industrial Communications Networks Primary Responsibilities: Solution Ownership Lead development of solutions, understanding shifting customer requirements, industry trends, competitors, market level prices, and economic conditions. Maintain the required capabilities and body of knowledge to support the program, identifying applicable standards and necessary risk management. Coordinate project and related activities with external partners, suppliers, and customers to deliver solutions to meet customer requirements. Engender key vendor support, establishing necessary relationships beyond the sales channel and directly with operating product/service operating units. Develop relationships with consulting and contractor community, collaborating on end user market objectives. Demand Generation Maintain a consistent onsite presence with customers, generating an active flow of assessment and proposal opportunities. Drive key customer-facing activities, particularly management level discussions. Maintain CRM data to document engagement process, forecasting, scheduling, and results. Providing the visibility required to drive comprehensive success. Consult and Proposal Methodology Develops and executes methodologies to drive proposals to decision, meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets: a) Prepare comprehensive modernization plans, proposals and presentations, specific to customer needs, in a clear and concise manner. b) Prepare estimates for potential projects and RFQs using application data, drawings, customer specifications and related information. Manage compliance to the EECO Solution Architecture best practices, working with Product Management, and Sales Teams to deliver the following: a) Deliverables as related to driving outcomes with our solutions b) Field assessment methodology c) Solution Architecture portfolio documentation d) Business case and related proposal templates e) Best practice product/service roadmaps to assist in closing proposals. What We Are Looking For: Fundamental knowledge common industrial communication networks and protocols. Understanding of protection relay schemes, relay settings calculations & coordination, short circuit analysis, load flow, voltage profile, motor starting voltage drop, and cable sizing. Familiarity with electrical drawings including One-lines, P&IDs, wiring & schematics, physical drawings, equipment technical specifications, engineering data sheets, calculations, grounding, and ETAP. Fundamental knowledge of a National Electrical Codes (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), UL-508, IEEE C37.20.2, 1683 WG, 1683 and IEEE 43, 95, 112, & 522 codes. Fluent with typical site safety requirements. For more information: www.eecoonline.com Requirements 5 years of applied project experience in discrete and process industrial environments including chemical, power generation, paper, and steel industries. 5 years experience with low and medium voltage motor control systems, including induction motor, synchronous motor, and wound rotor motor technology. 5 years experience with low and medium voltage power distribution systems. 5 years direct customer relationship skills; including needs assessment, development of technical proposals, presentations, and driving decisions to closure. BS in electrical engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience. Proficient with Eaton Bidmanager configuration application.
