Senior Solution Architect

Location: Munich, Germany | Hybrid | Full-time

A fast-growing European deep-tech company specializing in AI and quantum computing is looking for a Mid/Senior Solution Architect to join its pre-sales team.

This is an opportunity to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and enterprise customer needs, designing scalable solutions and working directly with technical and business stakeholders across industries including finance, energy, manufacturing, telecom, and industrials.

You’ll combine customer-facing solution architecture with hands-on AI engineering, supporting technical proposals, RFPs, product demonstrations, solution design, and AI deployment projects.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, or Consulting

• Strong customer and partner-facing communication and presentation skills

• Experience writing technical proposals, RFPs, and tenders and delivering hands-on product demos

• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and AI/ML services such as SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Azure ML

• Experience with cloud, on-premise, sovereign, and hybrid AI deployments

• MLOps experience including CI/CD, MLflow, Kubeflow/Flyte, monitoring, Docker, and Kubernetes

• Understanding of LLM inference stacks such as vLLM, llama.cpp, and OpenVINO

• Knowledge of ONNX, safetensors, and Hugging Face model ecosystems

• Experience sizing GPU infrastructure for AI workloads, including memory, throughput, and GPU platforms from A10 to H200

• Experience benchmarking LLMs across accuracy, latency, and throughput

• Hands-on Python and SQL development skills

• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face

• Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences

• Fluent German and English

• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, conferences, and projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computer Vision, Speech, or Vision-Language Model experience

• AI model optimisation, quantisation, or edge AI deployment

• Experience designing RAG pipelines or multi-agent systems

• Data architecture experience across batch and streaming workloads

• Big data technologies and distributed data processing

• Knowledge of GDPR, AI ethics, and the EU AI Act
