Overview:
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity as part of a joint venture project, designated as a PulseByte project. This role is a collaboration between Macannie and TISTA, where we are merging our resources and expertise to achieve growth by serving our customers, most of who are federal health agencies (HHS and VA) and the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).
We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our Growth Team. The Solutions Architect plays a key role in the growth effort by leading the development of innovative solutions to various customers’ requirements.
This role is a full-time position at Macannie, an agile and customer-focused company, with expertise in data and system modernization serving customers’ mission of improving America’s health and wellness.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the business development team and program delivery team and leads the technical solution development.
  • Understand customers’ needs and programs by studying their requirements and conducing research, then translate this understanding into innovative solutions that align with customers’ needs and vision.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect with experience in designing and maintaining cloud-based solutions for data management, application development and maintenance, and infrastructure modernization.
  • Experience with cloud-based security solutions, including identity and access management, network security, and encryption.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Preferred experience supporting the HHS and/or USDA.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Data management including ingestion, integration, interoperability, and analytics.
  • AWS certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional).
  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with server-less computing using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other similar services.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of best practices for cost optimization in a cloud environment.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
