Serve as the technical integrator between customer requirements and internal engineering capabilities, ensuring solutions are feasible and aligned with product roadmaps. Lead the preparation of technical documentation, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and white papers to guide customer decision-making. Conduct competitor and industry analysis to inform capture strategy and highlight innovation opportunities. Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to refine designs and deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in early-phase system engineering, including requirements decomposition, interface definition, and architecture baselining. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field; Master’s degree is a plus. 5+ years of experience in satellite communications, optical communications, or related aerospace domains. Strong proficiency in system-level analysis, requirements development, and end-to-end mission architecture. Hands-on experience across multiple domains (RF, optical comms, spacecraft avionics, networking, mission design, ground segment architecture). Skilled in modeling and simulation tools (STK, MATLAB/Python, RF and optical analysis). Experience creating customer-facing technical communications and proposals. Knowledge of commercial and government aerospace procurement and proposal processes. Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to defend technical recommendations using data. Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering teams and translate ambiguous requirements into actionable solutions. Bonus: experience in New Space industry, early mission proposals, concept studies, technology maturation, and rapid technical modeling. Benefits: Competitive salary and equity opportunities to share in company success. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, including dependents. Flexible vacation policy, parental leave support, and company-wide holidays. Relocation packages for approved roles. Annual professional development fund for courses, certifications, and learning resources. Engaging office environment with team events, social gatherings, and company-wide celebrations.
