The Opportunity

As the Senior Solutions Architect, you'll work closely with engineering leaders, technical teams, product stakeholders, and executive leadership to drive architecture strategy and governance across multiple domains.You'll be responsible for designing modern technology solutions, establishing architectural standards, reviewing solution designs, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.This role will suit someone who enjoys operating at both strategic and hands-on levels, influencing technical decision-making while remaining close to solution design and implementation.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and lead architectural strategy across software, data, and technology platforms.
• Establish and maintain architecture governance, standards, and best practices.
• Review and guide solution designs across multiple engineering teams.
• Develop architecture roadmaps aligned to business and technology objectives.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and technical design sessions.
• Support the adoption of modern cloud and distributed architecture patterns.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Drive consistency across technology landscapes while enabling innovation and agility.
• Contribute to technology evaluation, vendor selection, and emerging technology adoption.

About YouWe're looking for a seasoned architect with experience operating within complex technology environments and a strong track record of delivering modern, scalable solutions.

• You will bring experience across:Event-driven, message-driven, or microservices architectures.
• Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Software platforms, data platforms, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
• Solution architecture, technology strategy, and architectural governance.
• Modern integration patterns and distributed systems.
• Designing solutions that balance business outcomes, technical excellence, and long-term scalability.
• C4 Modelling and modern architecture documentation practices.

Essential ExperienceWe are particularly interested in candidates who have worked within complex and fast paced environments on mission critical platforms / solutions, such as: Defence, HealthTech, Geospatial technology, Mining technology, SaaS and software product organisations. Consulting environments (Cloud & Data Platforms), High-growth startups and scale-ups, Large enterprise transformation programs.

You will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and influencing stakeholders across both business and technical functions.
