Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Solutions Architect at Ingram Micro, you’ll play a pivotal role in accelerating our cloud growth and strengthening our position as a trusted AWS distributor. You’ll be responsible for onboarding accounts into AWS via Ingram Micro, enabling partners to transact efficiently and confidently.
This role is at the heart of supporting our reseller and vendor ecosystem, providing pre-sales technical support, solution design, and enablement that helps partners architect secure, scalable, and cost-optimised cloud solutions. You’ll collaborate with account teams and internal stakeholders to drive adoption, uplift partner capabilities, and position Ingram Micro as the go-to cloud solutions aggregator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist partners with onboarding accounts into AWS via Ingram Micro to streamline transactions and recognise revenue opportunities
  • Provide pre-sales technical support and solution design, and reduce deal cycle times
  • Guide resellers in architecting cloud solutions that are secure, scalable, and cost-effective
  • Deliver workshops, training, and enablement sessions to uplift partner technical capability
  • Support partners with tender responses, proposals, and go-to-market activities involving AWS solutions
  • Collaborate with AWS account teams and vendors to align strategies and strengthen market presence
  • Advocate best practices, including the Well-Architected Framework, security, and cost optimisation
  • Maintain AWS certifications and stay current with new services and innovations
  • Work with the wider Ingram Micro Cloud team to maximise AWS adoption and revenue growth
