Job Description We’re seeking a Solution Architect with deep Oracle Retail expertise to help optimise, extend, and evolve our enterprise systems. You’ll partner with our Oracle-aligned Enterprise Architect to design scalable, secure solutions that support business operations and customer experience. The intent of the role is to facilitate a multi year transition to an integrated Oracle ecosystem that supports our Retail Value chain. You'll need to be able to demonstrate your expertise in one or more areas of the Oracle Retail Eco system such as Planning Modules (MFP/AP/LPO etc), Warehouse Management System(WMS), Procurement or Store Inventory modules. In a retail environment facing economic headwinds, this role is key to ensuring our Oracle platforms are robust, integrated, and future-ready. You’ll lead solution design, drive cloud-native transitions, and identify opportunities for simplification and automation. Key Focus Areas Architect and deliver Oracle solutions aligned to business and technical standards Collaborate across teams to translate needs into scalable architecture Ensure governance and consistency across Oracle platforms Lead integration design between Oracle and non-Oracle systems Support cloud migration and platform modernisation Provide technical assessments and strategic recommendations Mentor others and engage with Oracle’s wider community Qualifications To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a blend of deep Oracle expertise, architectural clarity, and delivery focus. We’re looking for someone who can translate complexity into elegant solutions, balancing hands-on technical skill with strategic foresight and collaborative energy. Foundational, hands-on capabilities expected for this role: Oracle Solution Architecture: Designing and delivering Oracle-based solutions across ERP, SCM, and integrations Oracle Integration Tools: Proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud, SOA Suite, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI): Experience with provisioning, security, and performance tuning API Design & Middleware Integration: Building and orchestrating APIs and middleware for seamless connectivity Data Migration: Planning and executing migrations within Oracle environments DevOps & CI/CD: Implementing pipelines and automation in Oracle contexts Performance Optimisation: Tuning Oracle databases and applications for reliability and speed Security & Compliance: Applying best practices for secure Oracle environments Additional Information Eligibility To apply, you must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand at the time of application.
