Job Title: Solutions Architect Location: Remote - Canada Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to design and deliver innovative, user-centric solutions for a diverse range of business, enterprise, and IoT challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, a deep understanding of system and enterprise architecture, and a proven ability to translate complex requirements into scalable and effective technical solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: 10+ years of experience in the technology space, with a significant background in solution or enterprise architecture.Core Competencies: System, Solution, and Enterprise ArchitectureSoftware Development & Integration Architecture (APIs, ETL, SSO)SQL Database DevelopmentBusiness Intelligence & Reporting (Power BI, Tableau)UX Design & Product DesignTechnical Skills: Proficiency with SQL for database development.Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and/or ServiceNow App Engine is a plus.Familiarity with various enterprise software and systems.Soft Skills: Proven leadership abilities and experience in mentoring teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive work environment

Responsibilities

Architectural Design: Lead the design of innovative and user-centric solutions for business applications, enterprise systems, and IoT products, ensuring they are scalable and aligned with client needs. Technical Leadership: Take on leadership roles in technical projects, providing mentorship, promoting growth, and fostering a shared vision with the team and stakeholders. System Development: Act as a subject matter expert in software development, SQL database development, and integrations (ETL, API, SSO), providing hands-on assistance where needed. Business Intelligence & UX: Contribute to business intelligence initiatives, including reporting with tools like Power BI and Tableau, and apply a user-centric approach to UX and product design. Documentation & Strategy: Develop and maintain a range of technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, test plans, and product design documents, while contributing to overall IT strategy.
