Job Title: Solutions Architect - RTR / eTransfer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Our Financial Services client is hiring a Solutions Architect to support critical architecture and design work related to the Real-Time Rail (RTR) program and eTransfer modernization.
• This role will focus on designing integration strategies that support secure, real-time settlements, reconciliation, and fraud monitoring systems.
• The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Interac eTransfer (ideally version 3.7), along with experience aligning enterprise architecture with RTR implementation goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 7+ years of experience in architecture roles within financial services or fintech
• Strong experience with Interac eTransfer, ideally version 3.7
• Familiarity with RTR ecosystem, payments architecture, or ISO 20022 standards
• Hands-on experience with Java, AWS, Kubernetes, GitHub, and CI/CD tools
• Proven ability to design secure, scalable integrations for real-time systems

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to align solutions with RTR and Payments Canada standards
• Design scalable, secure architecture leveraging Java and AWS
• Support microservices architecture using Kubernetes, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure compliance with evolving eTransfer protocol changes (v3.7 and beyond)
