Scalian is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support the Application Domain Manager while undergoing IT transformation. The Solution Architect will ensure the Functional, Application, and Infrastructure Architecture knowledge and consistency of IT Domain solution scope, delivering Architecture design and/or validation, Solution Operation viability in our customer IT context, and associated documentation to guarantee IT asset management. These roles will work under the control and the responsibility of the Enterprise Architect and the Business Domain of our customer. Job Description The Solution Architect will provide services that encompass all tasks and activities required to achieve the objectives of Product Delivery and Project Management. Responsibilities include: The Services to be provided by the Solution Architect include all relevant tasks and activities which are necessary to accomplish the expected objectives of any Product Delivery or Project Management: Act as a key contributor within both Domain and Project teams, supporting Project Managers in delivering solutions on time, with the expected quality, and within budget while ensuring that solution architecture and design meet business objectives (added value, operational viability) and align with enterprise architecture and security strategies Ensure a clear understanding of business needs and priorities by producing functional architecture diagrams, including actor interactions, object/data flows, and interfaces Demonstrate how business needs are supported through comprehensive component and application architecture diagrams that fully address business requirements Define infrastructure solution architecture in coordination with internal and external technical experts Contribute to project planning by identifying and addressing gaps between the current (“as-is”) architecture landscape and the needs for solution definition and operation Propose added-value solutions leveraging the latest innovative technologies to enhance the organization’s standards and reference frameworks Provide architecture risk analyses and corresponding mitigation plan proposals for the domain Contribute to enterprise architecture by identifying redundancies and gaps within and across domains, supporting the delivery of the architecture roadmap, participating in architecture governance activities, and maintaining the organization’s architecture asset repository Support capability development by proposing and delivering awareness sessions, training, demonstrations, proofs of concept (POCs), and exploration of emerging concepts or technologies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field Very strong knowledge of business models and information systems Strong understanding of IT technologies and concepts Proven experience in information system architecture, designing and deploying end-to-end architectural solutions (from concept phase through entry into service) Strong soft skills, including presentation, synthesis, and interpersonal communication Technical skills in architecture principles, frameworks, and tooling; proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Visio, and project management tools Experience with Agile methodologies and architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman Strong work ethic with experience in a fast-paced, continuously evolving IT environment Preferred: experience designing and deploying applications for analytics platforms such as Tableau, Qlik, or SAP/SAC Additional Information To acquire experience in different critical industries and projects while working for the same company; To have a competitive salary and a great benefits package To access trainings that focus on expanding your knowledge while staying up to date with cutting edge technologies and best practices; To have a clear career development plan that suits your goals; To have the possibility of working abroad through our mobility program thanks to our international presence; To join a dynamic, specialized and fast-growing group where communication is key and where every team member is valued.
