Description
We are seeking a high-impact Solutions Architect– Multi-Layer CUAS responsible for bridging technical solution design and real-world execution across global opportunities. This is a hands-on hybrid role, combining: • Back-office technical leadership (RFPs, tenders, architecture design) • Frontline field execution (demos, trials, deployments) The role requires a technically strong, execution-driven engineer capable of translating operational requirements into winning technical solutions and then validating them in the field. Reporting to the VP CUAS Solutions, this role is critical in turning opportunities into technically sound, deliverable, and winning solutions. Responsibilities: 1. Technical Ownership of RFPs & Tenders Lead the technical response for: RFIs / RFPs / tenders Technical proposals and compliance matrices Translate customer requirements into clear, competitive multi-layer CUAS architectures Develop: System designs CONOPS Technical narratives and diagrams Support win strategies with strong technical differentiation Work closely with Sales/BD to shape winnable and executable solutions 2. Solution Architecture & System Design Design end-to-end multi-layer CUAS solutions, including: Detection (RF, radar, EO/IR) Identification & tracking Mitigation (RF/cyber, jamming, kinetic integrations) Communication Define system configurations aligned with operational use cases Ensure interoperability with: C2 systems Third-party sensors and effectors Integrators and primes Balance performance, cost, and deploy ability 3. Field Execution & Validation Lead and execute: Customer demos Field trials and PoCs Operational evaluations Support on-site: Deployment and system setup Calibration and optimization Troubleshooting under real conditions Ensure solutions perform as proposed and expected Provide hands-on support during critical customer activities 4. Deal Support & Technical Leadership Act as the technical authority during active pursuits Support deal teams in: Opportunity shaping Technical positioning Risk mitigation Engage directly with customers as a trusted technical advisor Strengthen credibility during evaluations and decision phase 5. Feedback Loop & Product Improvement Capture field and customer insights Translate feedback into: Product improvements Capability enhancements Roadmap inputs Identify gaps between proposal assumptions and field reality Contribute to continuous improvement of deployment playbooks 6. Cross-Functional & Partner Collaboration Work closely with: Sales / BD Product & R&D Integration partners and primes Support partner enablement on solution deployment and positioning Ensure alignment between what is sold and what is delivered Requirements 5+ years in defense, CUAS, EW, ISR, or related domains Proven experience in both: Technical proposals / RFP responses Hands-on field deployment / system integration Strong understanding of multi-layer defense systems Experience with at least two of: RF systems / signal analysis Electronic warfare / jamming Radar systems EO/IR systems Command & Control (C2) Experience supporting customer-facing technical engagements Willingness to travel extensively (50–70%)
