REQUIREMENTS:

Education: BSc or MSc in a relevant field
Experience: 8+ years in Data Architecture and Design
Technical Skills: Extensive experience with Oracle platforms is a plus, with a strong understanding of solution design in processes, data, and technology.
Holistic Thinking: Ability to aggregate and synthesize requirements from multiple functions and processes.
Language: Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is preferred.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join the Group Function IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of data solutions across Skanska Group HQ, ensuring they align with both our business strategy and technology standards. Your primary focus will be on the long-term effectiveness, cost optimization, and standardization of our data solutions, while maintaining compliance with Skanska’s policies and guidelines.
You will have the opportunity to influence the future of Skanska’s data architecture by ensuring that cutting-edge technologies are utilized to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design & Develop: Design technical solutions that align with business goals, ensuring projects meet both short- and long-term objectives.
Strategic Alignment: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure all data projects align with the overarching business strategy and technology standards.
Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to ensure effective implementation of solutions and technologies.
Holistic Solutions: Provide strategic input for Group Functions and other affected departments by delivering integrated data solutions driven by business requirements.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding across teams.
Support Leadership: Assist the VP, Analytics & Data with various tasks and activities as needed.
