Description
LOCATION We are hiring for this role to be based in the United States or Canada. This is a remote role unless you fall within the following parameters. If you live within approximately 50 miles of our San Mateo, CA or Provo, UT office, the position follows a hybrid schedule with in-office days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. ABOUT THE ROLE At GC AI, we’re redefining how legal teams work with the power of AI. As a Solutions Attorney, you’ll be at the forefront of this transformation — blending your legal expertise with cutting-edge AI to help customers unlock entirely new ways of working. In this role, you’ll draft powerful AI prompts, partner directly with customers to solve their most pressing workflow challenges, and teach courses that inspire and equip lawyers to embrace AI in their practice. Your impact will be direct and measurable: driving adoption, shaping product direction, and building the skills and confidence of our users. This is a unique opportunity to help define the role of AI in law, working at a fast-moving startup with clear product-market fit, a world-class team, and customers who say they can’t imagine their lives without GC AI. OUR SOLUTIONS ORGANIZATION The Solutions Org is the strategic bridge between our technology and our customers. We are hiring across three dedicated tracks (all of which include teaching our Academy classes). Please indicate your preferred track when applying: * Go to Market: This team partners directly with the sales organization to drive revenue by demonstrating GC AI’s value in complex, high-stakes environments. You will serve as a subject matter expert on pitches across all client segments, tailoring and providing product demonstrations to specific legal workflows and prospect needs. * Forward Deployed: This team focuses on the long-term lifecycle of the customer, driving retention, high-touch product adoption, and consultative workflow design. You will own implementation and ongoing technical/strategic customer support, handling consultative problem solving like custom prompt engineering, playbook creation, and workflow optimization. * Academy: This team owns the educational engine of GC AI, creating industry-leading Legal AI content and managing the logistics of our instructional offerings. You will act as a dedicated owner of all Academy course content, building new classes and refining existing materials to ensure content scales alongside product releases. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Draft high-impact AI prompts that solve real-world legal problems and demonstrate value across industries and practice areas. * Curate a library of sample prompts and outputs to showcase the versatility of GC AI to both prospects and customers. * Partner with in-house lawyers to deeply understand their workflows (research, contracts, diligence, document analysis, compliance, etc.) and design practical AI-powered solutions. * Act as the Voice of the Customer by sharing insights with Product, ensuring features evolve to meet real-world legal needs. * Lead prompting workshops and training sessions to boost customer adoption and confidence in using AI effectively. * Position GC AI as the trusted legal AI partner by bringing credibility, expertise, and empathy to every interaction. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE * 4+ years of experience practicing law, including at least 2 years practicing (or working in legal ops) in-house. * A genuine passion for AI and you already use it and love experimenting with it. * Proven ability to learn quickly, think critically, and apply knowledge creatively. * Hands-on experience with legal tech tools (e.g. CLM, automation, or other legal software). * Excellent client-facing skills: empathetic, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities. * Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly. NICE TO HAVE * Experience designing or teaching training programs, workshops, or courses. * Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM-powered tools, or workflow automation. * Background in legal innovation, knowledge management, or legal tech adoption. * Strong community-building instincts, and you enjoy connecting people and sharing knowledge.
