Protomated is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Lagos-based team in building validated, market-ready solutions for lean businesses. As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll combine traditional development skills with no-code tools to create efficient, scalable solutions that solve real market needs.

• Minimum Qualification : Diploma
• Experience Level : Entry level
• Experience Length : 2 years

REQUIREMENTS:

• WordPress development experience : Custom theme and plugin development. WooCommerce customization. WordPress REST API. Performance optimization
• JavaScript proficiency : Vue.js framework experience. Modern ES6+ features. API integration. Frontend optimization
• Database experience : PostgreSQL database design. Query optimization. Data migration. Backup and recovery
• API development : RESTful API design. API documentation. Authentication and security. Performance optimization
• No-code automation : Experience with Zapier, Make, or n8n. Workflow design and optimization. Third-party integrations. Error handling and monitoring

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Understanding of security best practicesReliable internet connection and power supply

• Design and develop custom WordPress solutions, including themes, plugins, and integrations
• Build and maintain Vue.js applications that integrate with WordPress and other platforms
• Create and optimize PostgreSQL databases for both WordPress and custom applications
• Develop and maintain APIs for internal tools and client solutions
• Design and implement automation workflows using tools like Zapier, Make, or n8n
• Participate in solution validation sprints to ensure market fitCollaborate with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions
