JOB SUMMARY

Protomated is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Lagos-based team in building validated, market-ready solutions for lean businesses. As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll combine traditional development skills with no-code tools to create efficient, scalable solutions that solve real market needs.
- Minimum Qualification : Diploma
- Experience Level : Entry level
- Experience Length : 2 years
REQUIREMENTS:
- WordPress development experience : Custom theme and plugin development. WooCommerce customization. WordPress REST API. Performance optimization
- JavaScript proficiency : Vue.js framework experience. Modern ES6+ features. API integration. Frontend optimization
- Database experience : PostgreSQL database design. Query optimization. Data migration. Backup and recovery
- API development : RESTful API design. API documentation. Authentication and security. Performance optimization
- No-code automation : Experience with Zapier, Make, or n8n. Workflow design and optimization. Third-party integrations. Error handling and monitoring
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Understanding of security best practicesReliable internet connection and power supply

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom WordPress solutions, including themes, plugins, and integrations
- Build and maintain Vue.js applications that integrate with WordPress and other platforms
- Create and optimize PostgreSQL databases for both WordPress and custom applications
